quality of care for patients with type 2 diabetes in China: findings from the Shanghai Integration Model (SIM

摘要: This cross-sectional study aimed to investigate the quality of care of diabetes in Shanghai, China. A total of 173 235 patients with type 2 diabetes in 2017 were included in the analysis. Profiles of risk factors and intermediate outcomes were determined. The patients had a mean age of 66.43±8.12 (standard deviation (SD)) years and a mean diabetes duration of 7.95±5.53 (SD) years. The percentage of patients who achieved the target level for HbA1c (<7.0%) was 48.6%. Patients who achieved the target levels for blood pressure (BP)<130/80 mmHg and low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-c)<2.6 mmol/L reached 17.5% and 34.0%, respectively. A total of 3.8% achieved all three target levels, and the value increased to 6.8% with an adaptation of the BP target level (<140/90 mmHg) for those over 65 years. Multivariable analysis identified the factors associated with a great likelihood of achieving all three target levels: male, young age, short diabetes duration, low body mass index, macrovascular complications, no microvascular complications, prescribed with lipid-lowering medication, and no prescription of antihypertensive medication. In conclusion, nearly 50% and one-third of the patients with diabetes met the target levels for HbA1c and LDL-c, respectively, with a low percentage achieving the BP target level. The percentage of patients who achieved all three target levels needs significant improvement.

Development of temperature-robust damage factor based on sensor fusion for a wind turbine structure

摘要: Wind power systems have gained much attention due to the relatively high reliability, maturity in technology and cost competitiveness compared to other renewable alternatives. Advances have been made to increase the power efficiency of the wind turbines while less attention has been focused on structural integrity assessment of the structural systems. Vibration-based damage detection has widely been researched to identify damages on a structure based on change in dynamic characteristics. Widely spread methods are natural frequency-based, mode shape-based, and curvature mode shape-based methods. The natural frequency-based methods are convenient but vulnerable to environmental temperature variation which degrades damage detection capability; mode shapes are less influenced by temperature variation and able to locate damage but requires extensive sensor instrumentation which is costly and vulnerable to signal noises. This study proposes novelty of damage factor based on sensor fusion to exclude effect of temperature variation. The combined use of an accelerometer and an inclinometer was considered and damage factor was defined as a change in relationship between those two measurements. The advantages of the proposed method are: 1) requirement of small number of sensor, 2) robustness to change in temperature and signal noise and 3) ability to roughly locate damage. Validation of the proposed method is carried out through numerical simulation on a simplified 5 MW wind turbine model.

Two-dimensional SnS2 nanosheets on Prussian blue template for high performance sodium ion batteries

摘要: Three-dimensional Prussian blue (PB) nanostructures was obtained via a one-step hydrothermal method. Subsequently, two-dimensional tin disulfide (SnS ) nanosheets were grown onto PB through a facile hydrothermal synthesis. The as prepared SnS /PB is further employed as the anode of sodium ion batteries (SIBs). SnS /PB nanoarchitecture delivers a specific capacity of 725.7 mAh∙g at 50 mA∙g . When put through more than 200 cycles, it achieved a stable cycling capacity of 400 mAh∙g at 200 mA∙g . The stable Na storage properties of SnS /PB was attributed to the synergistic effect among the conductive PB carbon, used as the template in this work. These results obtained potentially paves the way for the development of excellent electrochemical performance with stable performance of SIBs.

Lamb wave propagation modeling for structure health monitoring

摘要: This study aims to model the propagation of Lamb waves used in structure health monitoring. A number of different numerical computational techniques have been developed for wave propagation studies. The local interaction simulation approach, used for modeling sharp interfaces and discontinuities in complex media (LISA/SIM theory), has been effectively applied to numerical simulations of elastic wave interaction. This modeling is based on the local interaction simulation approach theory and is finally accomplished through the finite elements software Ansys11. In this paper, the Lamb waves propagating characteristics and the LISA/SIM theory are introduced. The finite difference equations describing wave propagation used in the LISA/SIM theory are obtained. Then, an anisotropic metallic plate model is modeled and a simulating Lamb waves signal is loaded on. Finally, the Lamb waves propagation modeling is implemented.

摘要: text-align: justify;">本文提出了一种利用多光子非线性效应的多光子结构光照明超分辨显微成像(multiphoton-structured illumination microscopy, mP-SIM)技术,可实现比线性SIM 更高的成像分辨率。本文提出了mP-SIM 理论以重建系统的超分辨图像。如果考虑多光子非线性效应的所有高阶谐波(阶数足够高,即m足够大),则mP-SIM 在理论上可实现无限分辨率。通过实验证实了双光子荧光(2P)-SIM 和二次谐波产生(second harmonic generation, SHG)-SIM 分别可实现86 nm 和72 nm的横向分辨率。对细胞内染色F-肌动蛋白和小鼠尾腱胶原纤维成像,进一步验证了mP-SIM 的超分辨成像能力。

基于统计分析的树脂灌注式螺栓连接疲劳强度评价

在对老旧的螺栓和铆接金属桥进行修补和加固时可以使用不同的方案。由于铆接链接技术目前并不常用,连接它需要特定的设备和熟练的工人。另一种解决方案是使用焊接。但是,老旧钢材的可焊性较差。螺栓是一种非常可行的替代解决方案,并且常用于修复旧金属桥。装配螺栓的解决方案成本高昂,另一种方法是使用树脂灌注式螺栓。带有预紧力的树脂灌注式老旧螺栓连接的受力性能已经用准静态和蠕变试验进行了研究,然而,关于这些连接节点的滑移和疲劳行为的文献很少。本文概述了几位研究者的实验项目,旨在评估单侧受剪和双侧受剪的树脂灌注式螺栓连接的疲劳行为。对有预紧力的标准螺栓和有预紧力的树脂灌注式螺栓的连接节点的实验数据进行比较分析,显示后者的疲劳强度较低。但欧洲规范3(EC3)对树脂灌注式螺栓和标准螺栓的连接节点提出的疲劳强度曲线大致相同,这应得到足够的重视。此外,本研究还展示了使用黏结螺栓连接的可行性研究。最后的研究是用高强度低合金结构钢板和用于金属黏结的丙烯酸结构黏结剂进行的。针对两个实际工程案例,使用线性化边界及Castillo 和Fernández-Canteli 模型对疲劳实验数据进行统计分析。最终提出疲劳设计曲线,并与欧洲和北美规范中的几个设计建议进行比较。
